As it was a lovely morning we decided we would go for a walk. I had found details of a historic around Peebles town online that you could get from tourist information, unfortunately they didn’t open until 11.00 so we found a walk around the Tweed river and into the countryside in one of the books Donald had left us. It was a lovely walk with great views of Peebles from the top of the hill and the sun was shining for most of it which really helped. On the way back into Peebles we called into the tourist information and picked up the historic Peebles walk but as it clouded over and started to rain we went back to the house to have lunch, a relax and plan what we can do that is inside! However the relax part of the afternoon was possibly a mistake as once we had sat down we decided we would give ourselves the afternoon off, I think the long drives and long walks are starting to get to us!
