As we had quite a late night yesterday we didn’t pack until this morning which actually didn’t take very long so we set off in search of breakfast then came back to the room and read for a while until it was time to go and check out. The hotel called a taxi for us and we arrived at the airport in good time, I am not totally convinced that they have a driving test in Croatia as they all weave in and out of the traffic like maniacs. The check-in desk didn’t open until 10.00 so we were pretty much at the front of the queue as we had arrived about quarter to 10. After dropping off our bag we went to the business lounge, this isn’t actually run by BA so they were not sure if we would be allowed in, but it wasn’t a problem Chris was able to sign me in as a guest on his silver card so we had a nice relaxed start to the journey home. Everything went very smoothly, the board in the lounge said the flight was boarding and by the time we arrived at the gate we were able to walk straight on, the flight took off on time and we got back home by about 4pm, in time to have a relax, something to eat (not pizza) and watch some golf before going to bed!
